Return Policy

This return policy is an excerpt of our main Terms of Service


8. Returns

  1. You have 7 days from the date you have received your SWAP Products to request a return and a replacement SWAP Products from SWAP if the SWAP Products:
    1. is not the item you ordered; or
    2. is damaged on arrival

(subject to the conditions in this clause 8(1) above) the “SWAP 7-Day Return Policy” shall be applicable.

  1. To return your SWAP Products under the SWAP 7-Day Return Policy, you must, within 7 days of your receipt of the SWAP Products:
    1. go to the SWAP Website and print or screen capture the result as proof of purchase of your SWAP Products;
    2. contact SWAP by e-mail at [info.enquiries@swap-asia.com] to request a Return Authorisation (RA);
    3. supply SWAP with the IMEI and/or Serial Number of your SWAP Products or the order number or invoice number from when you purchased the SWAP Products. The IMEI and/or Serial Number should be on the exterior of the packaging in which your SWAP Products is delivered. You can also retrieve the IMEI of your SWAP Products by dialling *#06# on your SWAP Products, if applicable.
  2. To qualify for a replacement under the SWAP 7-Day Return Policy, all the following conditions must be met:
    1. the SWAP Products must be unopened, and in the original packaging provided by SWAP along with all accessories (including manuals, warranty cards, certificate of authenticity) and bundled free gifts received along. All packaging must be unused, unmarked and not defaced in any manner;
    2. the IMEI and/or Serial Number of the product you return to SWAP must be the same as the IMEI and/or Serial Number of the SWAP Products sold to you – that is, it must be the same product that SWAP or its authorised partner supplied to you;
    3. the returned SWAP Products must be returned in good physical condition (not physically broken or damaged); and
    4. if more than one (1) item is purchased in a single order, all items that falls under Clause 8 (1) (i) and (ii) above shall be returned together.
  3. You may return the Product to the following location assigned to You:
    1. SWAP’s Office in Wisma Kemajuan, Petaling Jaya; or
    2. SWAP’s Office in Mapletree, Shah Alam.
  4. Once SWAP receives Your SWAP Product and verifies that the returned SWAP Products qualifies for a replacement, SWAP may, at its discretion, provide a replacement product to You.
  5. If SWAP chooses to provide you with a replacement product, SWAP will arrange with you on the delivery of the replacement product. All costs and expenses for delivery of the replacement product will be borne by SWAP.
  6. If SWAP determines that the returned SWAP Products is not eligible for a replacement and if you request for the SWAP Products to be returned to you, you agree to bear all costs and expenses relating to the return of the SWAP Products.
  7. In these terms of use and Terms and Conditions of Supply:
    1. “Malaysian Consumer Law” means the Consumer Protection Act 1999, as amended from time to time;
    2. “SWAP” means SWAP Logistics Distribution Sdn Bhd trading as SWAP;
    3. “SWAP 7-day Return Policy” has the meaning given in clause 8 of the Terms and Conditions of Supply;
    4. “SWAP Products” means a product you have purchased from SWAP through the SWAP Website;
    5. “SWAP’s Privacy Policy” means the privacy policy available at [https://www.swap-asia.com/privacy-policy/];
    6. “SWAP Website” means http://shop.swap-asia.com;
    7. “you” means the person who places an order through the SWAP Website.
